My name is Doug Naugle, I am an artist. My work is primarily modern art. I like to use bright, bold colors and stark contrast to create electricfying images from controlled chaos. Each painting focuses around nature and the energy that exists in all living things. I like to tell people that each painting is a cross section of the objects in the painting. Once dissected it reveals the energy and flow of those objects. Sometimes I have an idea of what I want to paint, other times I let my subconscious be the guide.
