The original has been sold? Now what?
Your next option would be to purchase a Giclée on canvas. A Giclée is the closest to an original painting you can get. These beautiful Giclées on canvas are printed, stretched, gallery wrapped and can be shipped directly to you. All pieces are ready to hang on your wall. On the back of each Giclée will be my hand print and the number of the series.
What is a Giclée?
A Giclée (pronounced zhee-CLAY) is a high-resolution reproduction printed from a special large format printer. Giclées are produced from digital scans of the original artwork. Giclée prints are coveted by collectors for their reliability, quality, and desired by galleries, museums, and artists because they so accurately reproduce the original art. This type of art reproduction is the gold standard in the art industry, and is widely embraced for its quality. The digital image includes every subtle detail and nuance of the original piece of artwork – including the smallest of brush strokes and details of light and shadow. The fine art Giclée is often indistinguishable from the original work of art.
What if I want a smaller print?
If a Giclée is not what you’re looking for, then maybe a 16×20 or 8×10 print on photo paper is what you’re looking for. Each print is ready to be placed in a frame and hung your wall. 16×20 and 8×10 sizes are the most common frame sizes, so finding the perfect frame will be easy.
What if I want a custom size or a larger size Giclée than is currently offered?
Most of the Giclées can be blown up bigger than the original size. If you are interested in a larger Giclée, pick the piece of artwork you like and then send me an email with the size you would like and I can let you know your options.
